Affection day

Government has decided to celebrate Mamata divas so that all service pertaining to health are available to mother and children. Accordingly following health activates are carried out at primary health centers/community health centers on every Monday and at sub-centers and at places decided by other villages at prescribed houses on every Wednesday.
  Anti-tetanus vaccines to pregnant mothers
  Examination of foster mother
  Vaccination of all children form 0 to 5 years and preparation of charts for examination, growth and development
  Information on health by counseling to women of Kishori Shakti.
  Examination of haemoglobin of pregnant mothers, examination of B.P., urine, examination and treatment to high-risk mothers.
  Provide referral services
 

All types of examinations and treatment pertaining to health should be provided to mothers and children on Mamata Divas and thereby prevention of mortality rate of mothers and children.

Health visitors, male/female, trained mid-wives anganwadi workers, members of M.S. Sangh and girls from 1 to 19 years actively perform their duties in the program. Medical officers of primary health centers, male/female supervisors, block health officer/B.I.E.C. officer/Block H.V/principal female servants/C.D.P.O. supervise over the work
